Competition Overview
The Hannover International Piano Competition provides a comprehensive and authoritative performance platform and competition environment. It is also the only international competition that has an exclusive concerto fund established by the Chicago Young Musicians Association to provide free recording and symphonic concerto adaptation of the repertoire to the gold medal winners of the international finals, and provides free New Year's concert performance contracts for the international gold medal winners.
Introduction To The Venue
The Opera of Nations is an all-wood, demountable theater, constructed from 5,000 cubic meters of spruce timber and 80 spruce planks, each 11 meters long, 3 meters wide, and 40 centimeters thick. The spruce is hand-selected by French workers for its premium, light honey-colored Finnish spruce, boasting perfect grain lines, even color distribution, and a natural, harmonious hue.
Royal Gardens in Paris, France
The first incarnation of the theater, formerly the "Wooden Theatre of the Comédie-Française," is located in the Royal Gardens of Paris, France. It boasts excellent acoustic and thermal design, a floor area of 1,200 square meters, and a seating capacity of 700.
Switzerland
Built in Geneva near the Place des Nations, Opéra des Nations was a temporary wooden theater that served as the home of the Grand Théâtre de Genève during its renovation from 2016 to 2018. Inspired by a French modular design, the structure was newly constructed in Switzerland.
Zhejiang, China
In 2021, the International Opera House once again embarked on a journey, with China as its destination. After the International Opera House was confirmed to be located in the ancient city of Yanguan, Haining, Zhejiang, it is about to start its third magnificent "rebirth".
